Dewey Kruger Music was established November 2, 1981 in Northwood Iowa by Duane L. “Dewey” Kruger. The business has steadily grown since that time. The store carries a full line of keyboard instruments including Kawai acoustic and digital pianos, and is the exclusive area representative for the prestigious Rodgers Digital Church Organs and Digital/Pipe Combination Organs of Hillsboro Oregon. Before opening his business in 1981, Dewey was the Keyboard Manager at Carlton Stewart Music in Mason City, Iowa beginning in January of 1966. In January 1968, Dewey was responsible for the introduction of the world class Kawai piano line into this area. He then secured the dealership franchise with Rodgers Instruments in 1975 bringing the world renowned Rodgers Classical Organ into the area. Mr. Kruger is a talented musician and businessman and is greatly respected by the entire area community.
